Scope of works:

The supply, design and installation of over 10km of process pipework in a state-of-the-art process manufacturing site. A new beverage can manufacturing facility in Peterborough required extensive pipework throughout its newly-built factory. Using the Mapress system, Arcade delivered extensive cost and time savings.

Key challenges:

• The bespoke facility features multiple manufacturing lines funnelling different fluids. Each fluid is under a different pressure and runs at a different
  temperature.
• The installation had to keep up with Crown’s fast paced construction schedule

Solutions:

• Installed over 10km of pipework around the factory, liaising with other trades to deliver as required.
• Clarified exactly what pressures and temperatures were required for each fluid being transported. These calculations allowed us to use the Mapress system
  rather than traditional welded stainless steel pipework
• Using Mapress allowed us to deliver a 25-year warranty on the installation.
